ANTIQUEAUCTION

Our Club held a conference on personal development for our members and the women of Balat. The conference on Harmonization of Body, Mind & Spirit by Singing Bowls was held to contribute to personal development & transformation. This conference aimed to analyze different methods of adjusting the body’s holistic frequency disrupted by stress, fatigue& anxiety.

We contacted a personal development consultant, Sırma Belin. She received her BA & MA in German Literature & Philology from İstanbul University. She was an assistant & PhD student in the same department. She resigned &began to work as tourist guide. She attended various training programs such as Reiki 1, Reiki 2, Acutonics Sound Gates to Meridian Harmonics, The Fibonacci Process Program, Acutonics Harmonic Geometry, Overcoming Illusion, Trust human Academy Personal Transformation Advisor- Train the Trainer, Sound Massage with Sound Bowls, and Peter Hess Institut Klangmassagepraktiker. She has especially specialized in Body, Mind & Spirit Harmonization through Sound.

Firstly, she emphasized subjects such sound, frequency, effects of sound on our body, mind & spirit. In the second part, she introduced various practices with the singing bowls. A sound trip was taken, the conference was finalized with a sound meditation. Ancient instruments, including Tibetan singing bowls, were utilized in specific rhythmic patterns to create vibrational sound harmonics at the frequency of "AUM" or "OM". This sound frequency is known as that of Perfection and affects the sympathetic nervous system as our brain waves synchronize to the vibrations of the bowls. The harmonic vibrations engage with the relaxation reflex and slow down the respiratory system together with the heart rate and disrupt the pain reflex, resulting in a deep sense of well-being. Practice with gongs, toning, color and visualizations was integrated into our session to balance the energy of our bodies.

Since the date of the conference was on the Orange Days, we also had an orange activity during the conference.
