Our ChangEquality in Work University activities started on April 2, 2019 at Maslak Campus of Nişantaşı University. Our association was represented in this activity by Gül Üstün, project director and president at the time; Zehra Canfesci, the project treasurer; Hüray Böke, Mentorship Programme Coordinator and Azize Namdar, project coordinator. Prof. Dr. Melis Oktuğ, Vice Rector of Nişantaşı University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Göknur Akçadağ, Head of History Department; Bengi Bezirgan Tanış, academic member, and Deniz Ataş, Club Officer of Student Life Unit, attended this activity organized by Hatice Rojda Özdemir, Head of Social Services Club, together with 29 students from the sociology and psychology departments.

Observing the excitement of the students of Nişantaşı University, their active participation and the benefit they acquired helped us renew our faith and increase our enthusiasm. Students’ comments were also very beneficiary for us. The awareness of a male student that was expressed through with the words; “I understood during the game that we, the men, are raised to be merciless since our childhood. Our parents have conditioned us in a way that we remain indifferent towards women and their problems resulting from gender inequality.” was important to show us that we are on the right track and how genuine our path is.
