İstanbul Ayvansaray University

We met a total of 39 child development students, including 20 receiving education in English and 19 in Turkish, at Davutpaşa Campus of Ayvansaray University. Erdem Tüfekçi, Teaching Assistant, and Hürrem Oral, Head of Child Development Club, enabled us to hold two events on the same day. Also, teaching assistants Seçil Pelin Aka and Sina Güzin Cengiz showed interest in our games. Gül Üstün, Melek Sine Berkem, and Azize Namdar, put the activity into practice.

Since we played the game mainly with students of Child Care and Youth Services Department, the discussions centralized around the notion that gender equality awareness should be instilled starting from pre-school and elementary education. The students stated that they realized how important of an understanding is the gender equality awareness, which needs to be acquired in childhood as part of their education.
